About
At Restored RV Repair we are not just another repair company, we are members of your community! We are a husband and wife team who have been RV enthusiasts since 2013. Our first full time RV adventure began with our four youngest kids and two dogs, living full time at resorts in Florida and Texas. We could have never imagined back then the immense impact RV life would have on our lives!
We immediately fell in love with the lifestyle. We enjoyed having our family all together in a smaller space, where incredible bonds were being formed to last a lifetime. It seemed that every time we stepped outside of the RV door we found ourselves in a beautiful place, surrounded by a likeminded friendly community, and a sense that unexpected new adventures were about to begin at any moment. We were amazed at how, no matter how long we RV’d, we never lost that feeling of perpetually being on vacation.
We home schooled our children and smile when we think back to how they were able to do their schooling in hammocks, on beaches, at picnic tables, at amusement parks, and even in a YURT! One thing we have learned that you can never get back is TIME. We knew that raising our children was just a season in life and we are so thankful for the opportunities that the RV life gave us and them. We are in awe as we look back on the impact it had on our children as we observe that they have grown up valuing adventures and freedom over material things. Our children are all adults now, some of them even full time RV as well, and our RV life is quieter than it used to be, but we are still absolutely loving the RV lifestyle for the two of us.
Over the years Jim has worked on our total of 5 RVs (1 Class A, 3 Fifth Wheels, and a Class B Van) and has always enjoyed it. He had worked as a Chemical Engineer for over 30 years, working his way up to Plant Manager, but did not find his work fulfilling. He did discover that the experience he had to cultivate over the years in troubleshooting machinery, tanks, chemicals, pumps, and other equipment to keep the plant running greatly prepared him for problem solving when it came to maintenance and repairs with our RVs. This led him to the decision to step away from the career he had built for decades and train to become a certified RV repair technician.
We now enjoy having the freedom to spend different seasons of the year around the country allowing us to enjoy our most valued treasure: Our family! It is our honor and privilege to be trusted by you with your RVs as you write your own stories of adventure and love within the RV lifestyle!
